Referral Program Terms

These rules apply to the Dirt Works Heavy Equipment referral program ("Program"). By taking part you agree to them. The reward is earned only when every rule below is met.
The reward
If you refer a new customer and that customer buys equipment from Dirt Works Heavy Equipment and the sale is complete, you earn a one-time reward of $100 for that purchase.
How a referral counts
- You must have a referral link or code from the referral page.
- Your friend must use your link, or type your code on our quote form, when they first contact us with a quote request. We cannot add a referral after the fact.
- Your friend must be a new customer: someone who has not sent us a quote request, bought from us, or been in touch about equipment in the last 12 months.
- You cannot refer yourself, someone in your household, or a business you own or work for.
- Only the first referral code on a customer's first quote counts. Only one reward is paid per purchase.
When the reward is earned
The reward is earned only after all of these happen: (1) your friend signs a sales agreement or invoice with us; (2) your friend has paid in full and the payment has cleared; (3) the machine has been picked up or delivered; and (4) the sale is final, meaning it has not been cancelled, refunded, reversed or charged back within 30 days after delivery or pickup. A quote, a deposit, a reservation or a pending sale does not earn the reward.
How and when you are paid
We pay earned rewards within 30 days after the sale becomes final, by a method we choose (such as check, Zelle or bank transfer). We may ask for your name, address and tax form (such as a W-9). Rewards may be taxable income to you, and we may report payments to the tax authorities where the law requires. If we cannot reach you or pay you within 12 months after the reward is earned, it expires.
Limits and fair play
- No cash value until earned and paid. Rewards cannot be sold, traded or transferred.
- We may refuse or cancel any reward we believe came from fraud, fake or duplicate accounts, spam, paid ads using our name, or any other misuse of the Program.
- Do not send unwanted text messages or emails, or post misleading claims. Do not say you speak for Dirt Works Heavy Equipment.
- Your friend's price, terms and availability are not changed by the referral. Equipment is subject to prior sale.
- We may change, pause or end the Program, or change the reward amount, at any time. A change does not affect a referral where the sale was already complete before the change.
- If anything here conflicts with a signed sales agreement, the sales agreement controls for that sale.
