Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Dirt Works Heavy Equipment ("we", "us") operates this website. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information we collect
When you request a quote or ask to be notified about a machine, we collect your name, phone number, email address (if you give it), equipment category, message and any photos you choose to send. When you leave a review, we collect the name, city and review text you submit. If you save machines or pick machines to compare, that list stays in your own browser and is not sent to us. Our website host and security tools may also log technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, and set cookies needed for the site to work.
How we use it
We use your information to answer your request, give you pricing and availability, arrange delivery or pickup, follow up about equipment you asked about, display reviews you chose to submit, and keep the website secure.
Calls and text messages
If you give us your phone number, you agree that we may call or text you about your request, including quotes, availability, delivery and appointment details, and a link to leave a review after a purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or tell us on a call. Agreeing to calls or texts is not a condition of buying anything. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their marketing.
Cookies and tracking
This website uses only the cookies needed for it to work and to keep the website secure. It does not use advertising pixels or remarketing. It keeps simple, anonymous visit counts on our own server (which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors came from) without cookies and without storing your IP address. If we add other analytics or advertising tools later, we will update this policy first. Links to Instagram and TikTok take you to those services, which have their own cookies and privacy policies.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website and email (such as our web host), when needed to complete a sale or delivery you requested, or when the law requires it.
Reviews
Reviews you submit are reviewed by us before they are published. If published, your name, city and review appear on our website. Ask us to remove yours at any time.
Your California privacy rights
California residents can ask us to tell you what personal information we collected about you, the purposes we used it for and who we shared it with, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also ask us to limit certain uses. We will not treat you differently for making a request. To make a request, call or email us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity first.
Security and retention
We use HTTPS to protect information sent through this website and take reasonable steps to protect what we store. No website or storage system is perfectly secure. We keep quote requests and reviews only as long as needed for the purposes above.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
